Wellsboro Community Concert Association presents The John Jorgenson Bluegrass Band (J2B2) is an all-star bluegrass supergroup featuring four legendary, award-winning musicians, John Jorgenson (Acoustic Guitar, Mandolin and Vocals); Herb Pedersen (Banjo, Acoustic Guitar and Vocals), Mark Fain (Bass), and Patrick Sauber (Acoustic Guitar and Vocals). Their live shows, both nationally and internationally, have received stellar reviews. Their music is the “high lonesome sound” of American roots music at its finest. They combine forces to form a union of impeccable musicianship, incomparable songwriting, incredible harmony vocals (a fresh twist combining bluegrass with elements of West Coast folk rock) and seasoned showmanship. In addition to recording their first album From the Crow’s Nest, they’ve played at the Grand Ole Opry several times. Jorgenson and Pederson founded the Desert Rose Band.
