The Coolidge Theatre, a black box style space, is the perfect venue for anything you can imagine.

Bands, plays, musicals, wedding receptions, proms, conventions, banquets, and dance classes; all of them have been accommodated in this room.

The most unique feature of our theatre is that it is completely customizable. Seating, stage, curtains, and entrances can all be adjusted to the needs of our guests.

The Coolidge Theatre can comfortably accommodate up to 200 people.

The Lobby

Our lobby, with its entrance right off Wellsboro's wonderfully unique Main St., boasts beautiful hardwood floors and the same flexibility as the Coolidge Theatre. Everything can be moved to suit your event.

The Lobby is ideal for small receptions and group gatherings of up to 150 people standing and 75 seated. Wi-fi is available.

The Grand Community Room is not only airy and spacious but also overlooks the beauty of Wellsboro's gas-lit Main Street.

If you're searching for a place to hold a wedding ceremony, reception, or banquet the Grand Community Room is a perfect choice. With a maximum occupancy of 99, the space can be set up however you request.

It is also important to note that in the evening hours, the sun comes in through the windows, transforming the room into a lovely golden pool of color, adding elements of class and magic to any event and creating the perfect lighting for any pictures you might take.

In addition, this room has been the venue for business meetings, seminars, various training sessions, and conferences. Wi-Fi is available.

Small Community Rooms

In addition to the Grand Community Room, the Deane Center provides smaller Community Rooms, which can easily be prepared to meet the needs of your group.

Rooms can be used weekly for different fitness classes and rehearsals and booked regularly for events like Bridal or Baby showers, Birthday Parties, classes, and gatherings.

Many companies use smaller rooms for meetings.Wi-Fi is available. Both rooms comfortably accommodate up to 49 people standing and 30 people with tables.

The Board Room is a professional room that is ready for your small business meeting. The conference table seats 10-12 people and the original brick wall provides a creative yet structured atmosphere.

Thank you for choosing the Deane Center for your event. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone, we ask that you kindly adhere to the following guidelines: 1. Wall and Surface Care Please do not use push pins, tacks, transparent tape, or masking tape on walls. You are welcome to use 3M Command strips or painter’s tape for wall decorations. 2. Respect for Other Events Please be mindful that multiple events may take place concurrently. Our walls and floors are not soundproof, so we ask that you be considerate of noise levels to avoid disrupting other guests. 3. Kitchen Use Kitchen access must be reserved in advance. If you have not reserved the kitchen, please do not store or prepare any items in the kitchen. If the kitchen is unoccupied, you may use the sink for cleaning purposes. 4. Carts & Garbage Please return all carts to the designated area inside the back doors. Kindly tie off your garbage; it will be removed by our staff. 5. Payment & Rentals Room and venue rentals must be paid in full prior to the start of your event, unless other arrangements have been made.

We are pleased to offer a variety of high-quality linen rental options to enhance your event at the Deane Center. Our linens are crafted from 100% spun polyester, providing the elegant appearance and feel of cotton. Whether you’re hosting an intimate gathering or a large banquet, we have the perfect linens to suit your needs. Our table linens come in three classic colors – White, Black, and Ivory – and are available in various sizes to accommodate different table setups. Prices are as follows: 54” x 54” (Small Tables) – $3.50 each 72” x 72” (Round Tables) – $3.50 each 104” (Banquet Tables) – $4.50 each 114” (Floor-Length Draping) – $16.00 each Our 19” x 19” banquet napkins are perfect for adding a touch of color to your event. Available in a wide range of vibrant colors for just 35¢ each, these napkins will complement any theme or style: White, Ivory, Pink, Red, Burgundy, Orange, Gold, Yellow, Sea Foam, Green, Navy, Royal Blue, Light Blue, Lavender, Purple, Black, Chocolate Brown

The Deane Center offers renters the use of our second floor kitchen. When booking your space, you will to let us know if you plan to use the kitchen. It will be provided to you in clean and fully operational condition. Please follow these guidelines: 1. Appliance Use: Turn off and clean all appliances (microwave, etc.) if used. 2. Personal Belongings: Remove all personal items. Double-check for any belongings left behind, including utensils, containers, or food. 3. Dishes and Serviceware: Scrape all dishes and serviceware (dispose of waste in the trash, not the sink) and rinse them. 4. Refrigerator and Stove: Empty and wipe down both the inside and outside of the refrigerator and stove if they are dirty. 5. Counters and Tables: ● Clear and wipe down all counters. ● Clear and wipe down all tables. 6. Sinks: ● Empty and wipe down the sink. ● Clean the walls adjacent to the sink and countertops if dirty. 7. Floor Cleaning: Sweep and mop the floor, ensuring it is free of debris. Clean up any spills immediately to avoid accidents. 8. Oven Use: If the oven was used, turn it off and clean it. 9. Rental Equipment: Remove all rental equipment from the property. 10. Dishes and Serveware: Do not remove any dishes, plates, or serveware from the property. These items are needed for our own use, even if borrowed for your event. 11. Garbage: Collect all garbage, bag it, and tie the bag. You may leave it in the room, and our staff will dispose of it in the dumpsters. 12. Safety and Maintenance: Report any broken or malfunctioning equipment to management. Ensure all kitchen equipment is in proper working condition before leaving. 13. Lights: Turn off all lights when you are finished. 14. Locking Up: If you are the last ones in the building, please lock the back door as you exit. Instructions will be provided upon arrival.

The Deane Center offers various technology equipment for rent depending upon your needs. Our meeting and video-conferencing rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technology. We can provide any technical assistance you may require. Projecting/Screens: Whether you are looking to project a presentation, photo slide show, or a video, we have got you covered! Our Grand Community Room is equipped with a 75” LG Monitor and a Logitech Rally Plus video conferencing system. Our LG Monitor has screen sharing from phone/laptop capabilities, as well as a simple HDMI to HDMI chord connection. Our Board Room seats 12. A projector and video conferencing system can be set up in this room. Our Small Community Room 219, can be set up classroom style or centered with a conference-style table. This room features a 4 x 6-8 pull-down screen and walls that can be used to project onto as well. We also have a variety of portable screens that could be moved to the room of your choice upon request. The sizes of our portable screens are as follows: ●. 6’x 8’ ● 4’x 6’ or 8’ (can change based on preference) ● 16’x 9’

The free Wi-Fi in the Deane Center is provided by Xtreme5G. The network is called Deane Center Guest. Renters or guests can access higher volume Wi-Fi via: - Basic 8 hour for $5.99 - Premium Daypass for $8.99 The Deane Center offers a voucher plan for renters that prefer to have longer internet access at a higher speed for multiple devices. OUR VOUCHER WI-FI SERVICES & HOW-TO-ACCESS: The network is called Deane Center NP. All vouchers must paid for ahead of time. Your voucher will be provided to you the day of your event. - 1 Day Voucher (add up to 3 devices) for $12.99 - 3 Day Voucher (add up to 3 devices) for $16.99, intended for multiple day Corporate meetings - 30 Day Voucher (add up to 5 devices, intended only for Tenant use) $20 *Voucher Wi-Fi plans are intended for renters needing internet access for 24 hours or longer on one or more devices. These plans must be purchased ahead of time to ensure a code will be provided for the renter's event. If the renter is a corporate company looking for access, please let our office know the type of voucher you are looking for when you book a room and the extra charge will be accounted on the invoice.

A deposit assures the renter that the room reserved will be available on the date(s) requested. The room will no longer be available for other users. For that reason, deposits are nonrefundable.

Under certain circumstances, a deposit may be applied to a revised date.
