The Deane Center for the Performing Arts is a vibrant part of the Tioga County community and the surrounding area. One can take a class or see a show and enjoy live entertainment. We have a state-of-the-art Coolidge Theatre plus other performance venues. There are always concerts happening or scheduled at the Deane Center.
Musicians, artists, dancers, actors and everyone interested in the fine and performing arts can gather to rehearse, perform and enjoy the arts! We sponsor free programs such as Deane Little Beans for children and Golden Afternoons for Senior Citizens. We are the home venue of the EMMF, WCCA, Hamilton-Gibson Productions, Wellsboro Men's Chorus, Wellsboro Women's Chorus, Mountain Life Cycling Studio, the Red Skillet and Indigo Wireless.
We also have beautiful assorted sized rooms available to rent for meetings, classes, special occasions such as weddings and or receptions, family reunions, baby showers, bridal showers, graduation parties, recitals and other types of gatherings.

Center
The Deane Center for the Performing Arts began with a dream and a One Million-Dollar gift from Harold and Ivah Deane, for whom the center is named. Their vision for a home for the arts in Tioga County will enrich the lives of countless people, young and old, for many years to come.
